FAQ: How do I configure FileZilla for FRII FTP?

FileZilla is FTP software that will work on any Microsoft Windows computer. All of the settings are the same for all versions of Windows. The screenshots in this example are from Windows XP, but FileZilla should look similar on all versions of Windows.

  1. Go to http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=21558 and download FileZilla_2_2_6_setup.exe. Save it to your desktop, then doubleclick the icon to begin the installation.
  2. Once it has been installed, open FileZilla.
  3. In the address field type ftp.frii.com.
  4. In the User field type your username.
  5. In the Password field type your password.
  6. In the Port field type 21.
  7. Click the "Quickconnect" button.

  8. If you have your own domain, type '/u/username/vp/yourdomain.com/www/' in the remote site field.
